Strategies of Abstraction Art Class

Abstract Art Class

This is a class in non-representational painting, an approach which has existed for over 100 years. You will utilize and be inspired by your surroundings, but this is not a class in representational painting. In this class, by exploring the techniques and concepts of today's most noted abstractionists, we will grow in a unique, profound and meaningful way. A driving force behind the making of art is to discover the never-before-seen. During this hands-on course, we will do just that. We will create our own notion of art and in the process discover the techniques by which it can be articulated. In short, we will learn how an abstract painting gets built.
