Losina Art Center is an established art school in San Diego. We welcome all levels – from absolute beginners to seasoned students, to emerging artists, looking for accelerated and structured art education or coaching with an experienced professional in a creative environment. We accept applicants from ages 15 to adult.
We organize art exhibitions where our students get exposure to art collectors and interior designers.

One of the greatest feelings in art is when you activate your right brain and begin to experience effortlessness in painting and drawing. We are committed to helping artists of all skill levels attain that feeling.
Apart from the experiential approach to learning, flexible enrollment policy, and accommodating programs, - our most important advantage is that the teacher works with each student individually, taking into consideration the student’s style of learning. Unique curriculum and exhibitions of student work have made Losina Art Center one of San Diego’s most progressive sources of art education. The Losina Method of art training, ongoing classes and short workshops, offered in beautiful San Diego in sunny California attract art students from other countries: Argentina, China, Russia, Mexico, Canada, and others.
We prepare artists for working independently. Our Annual Membership provides such training that enables the artist to create a body of work within one year. Our College Portfolio Program is designed to help young artists, including those who have no prior art exposure, to create a winning portfolio for submitting to art colleges. The facility also features a one-of-a-kind Gallery of Emerging Artists in San Diego. We are the destination gallery for interior designers, business and home owners, seeking outstanding original art at reasonable, straight-from-the-easel prices. Gallery quality paintings and works on paper – we specialize in large format works in a variety of subjects and styles, from highly representational to abstract and contemporary – put us on the map for local and out-of-town art collectors.
